Explain News Event Analysis
The news event scatter chart and MF magnitude-favourability scale allow us to identify and also quantify the effects of news events and news event classes on share price movements, i.e., we can find out what matters, what doesn't and more importantly, how much it matters.
In particular we may find the boundary between what constitutes 'normal' news events and the more serious, 'trend-breaker' types.
